Regardless of whether or not you have travelled abroad, contact the nearest consultation center (refer to Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare website) immediately if at least one of the following applies. Feel free to contact a consultation center even if you are not experiencing any of the symptoms listed below.

・ If you have any of the following symptoms : difficulty breathing, severe fatigue / sluggishness, high fever, etc.

・ If you are susceptible to severe illness (*) and have relatively mild cold symptoms such as a fever or cough.

* This includes, but is not limited to, senior citizens, those with underlying conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, or respiratory diseases (COPD, etc.), those undergoing dialysis, and those using immunosuppressants, anticancer drugs, etc.

・ If you do not fall into any of the categories above but continue to have relatively mild cold symptoms, such as fever or cough, or abnormal sense of taste or smell.

(Please contact a center if a symptom persists for four days or more. Symptoms vary from person to person, so please contact a center immediately if you believe the symptoms to be severe. The same applies to those who must continue to take antipyretics.)
